As 2013 begins, I’m more optimistic than ever.
Why?
You’re probably thinking, “Steve, don’t you know that the world has more problems and challenges than ever before? And the economies of the U.S. and the world are teetering? And our political leaders are short-term reactionaries and not acting like leaders? And the Middle East is a tinderbox waiting to ignite? And yada, yada, yada …”
Yes! On the world front, all of that is true. Many challenges exist. There are big problems. I agree with you. You are correct. But …
My optimism exists on a personal level.
I, like you, may not be overly optimistic about the U.S. economy or world affairs for the short-term, but I’m very optimistic about my own future.
Why?
It’s simple. I’ve managed to survive the past several years. During this time, I’ve been thinking and working and organizing and laying down a foundation. As 2013 begins, my foundation is rock solid. And … if you want to build something big, something substantial, something of significance – you need to build that something on a solid footing. My footing is solid. And I’ve built it on solid ground. It’s substantial. And it’s in place as 2013 begins.
So what am I going to build?
A movement. A cause. A business. Something big.
Over the next few weeks, I will describe in detail what I’ve got up my sleeve. I’ll tell you where I’m going. I plan to explain what I intend to build. I’ll show you the blueprints and details. And then I’ll build it. It will take three-plus years to complete. In 2013, the building itself begins. The foundation is finished. It’s rock solid.
As 2013 begins, I’m more optimistic than ever!
Care to join me?
Are you personally optimistic? I hope so!
2013 is going to be a great year!
