Patience:Perseverance-Chart.014

What is the one thing that connects being patient and being persistent?

Goals. And specifically … your goals.

A patient person focused on a goal doesn’t let setbacks, unforeseen challenges, or missed deadlines derail them from pursuing and achieving their dream. They may get frustrated, but they don’t give up. Patience is a friend and ally in overcoming life’s letdowns.

They are persistently patient.

Likewise, this same persistent person doesn’t let setbacks, unforeseen challenges, or unmet deadlines thwart their energy. Giving up isn’t an option. Being persistent is a tried-and-true friend.

They patiently persist.

The more important the goal, the more patience and persistence you need.

Important goals are not achieved quickly. Important goals take time. Weeks. Months. Years.

Are you using both patience and persistence, while giving yourself enough time, to achieve your most important goals?
