I'm Steve Weber. And because the movie originally came out in 1994, I've identified the best 94 scenes from the movie. Here is scene #93, and in 93 days from today, the movie will be 25 years old. Because Forrest was very wealthy, he decided to share some of his wealth. Well maybe Forrest was showing off when he shared some of his money with the 4 square Gospel Church and the Bayou la Batre Fishing hospital .. Or maybe he was just being kind and generous. Either way ... Forrest knew, there is only so much fortune that a man really needs. He know that money can't buy love and happiness. We all know stories of very wealthy people who became isolated and lonely - Elvis, Michael Jackson, Robin Williams. When we take responsibility for our attitude and actions with money -we live with Gumption. Forrest had Gumption. My hope is you'll be gump-like ... and live your life with Gumption.
