We Are All Connected

1:31:09
We see Jenny sitting on balcony in tears looking at the moon - her life is a mess. We see Forrest lying on a hammock on his boat. It's quiet, serene, and he's looking at the same moon, at the same time, thinking about Jenny. We are all connected.
**-- HERE IS THE VIDEO TRANSCRIPT --** We are all connected. Hi. I'm Steve Weber. I especially like today's scene. Scene #84 of 94 on our countdown to #1 on the 25th anniversary of the movie Forrest Gump. I like it because it's subtle. No words are spoken - and yet, it says a lot. Forrest and Jenny were connected by the moon. The previous scene showed Jenny with her life out of control. Doing drugs, Living on the edge. That same moon that Jenny was staring at in tears, Forrest was staring at on the calm and safety of his shrimp boat. We are all connected to each other. The energy we put out into the Universe touches everyone else on a subatomic level. Forrest was clearly reaching out to Jenny. It's not clear who Jenny was reaching out to in her drug induced plea for help. The film makers connected Forrest and Jenny with the moon. We are all connected. It takes Gumption to believe in the power of the Universe and our ability to be connected to others over distances. Forrest had that ability ... Jenny was probably still trying to learn that skill at that time when she was staring at the moon. Let's all be more gump-like and learn to connect with each other. Let's all live our lives with Gumption.
