**-- HERE IS THE VIDEO TRANSCRIPT --** Running Away - Jenny was running. Hi. Today's scene is simple but powerful - Jenny Runs Away. I'm Steve Weber and I've created this series of 94 video scenes from the movie Forrest Gump to celebrate the movie's 25th anniversary. Jenny gets up early after making love with Forrest the night before and we see her leaving in a taxi. The taxi driver asks Jenny, "Where you running off to?" Jenny curtly denies, "I not running". Jenny was running. Jenny was running away. She was either too scared to face her mixed feelings of love. Or perhaps she couldn't yet love. Probably, the demons from Jenny's childhood were still too strong. We often run away when staying and facing something head-on is too scary. Or perhaps too painful. It's easier to run away. Jenny denied she was running. But she was running. It takes Gumption to stay and face your fears. Do you want to be more gump-like? ... Recognize when you're running away ... decide if what you're running from is something you could stay and face head-on. At least being honest with yourself when you are running away.
