Hi, I'm Steve Weber and because this July 6, 2019 is the 25th anniversary of the movie Forrest Gump, I've created a series of 94 of the best scenes and a corresponding life lesson to pay tribute to this great American movie. Here is scene #51 titled When It Rains, It Pours. When Forrest was in Vietnam, it rained for four straight months. All different types of rain. So rain isn't just rain. Forrest noticed the different types of rain. How cool is it that something as generic as rain can take on many different forms. And how cool is that Forrest notices the subtle differences in the styles and kinds of rain. It takes gumption to pay attention to ordinary things and notice the different textures, and styles, and degrees ... whether it be rain, sunsets, or conversations with your spouse. Do you want to be more gump-like? ... Be present. Pay attention to the details.
