The Evil Eye

1:12:52
Jenny and Wesley are about to board the bus back to Berkeley. Forrest gives Jenny a look of love. He then gives Wesley the evil eye.
**-- HERE IS THE VIDEO TRANSCRIPT --** The evil eye. Hi, today's scene shows Forrest giving the evil eye. I'm Steve Weber and I've created this series of the 94 best movie scenes and a corresponding life lesson to celebrate this year being the 25th anniversary of the movie Forrest Gump. Here is scene #33. When Jenny boarded the bus, Forrest gave her a look of love. When Wesley boarded right after Jenny, Forrest gave him the evil eye. After that, Forrest did something brilliant. He turned and walked away. And then his shoulders dropped just a little bit. He let it go. Giving the evil eye is a normal human reflex. Letting it go takes a conscious decision. If you don't let it go. And you give the evil eye the next time you see that person, and then the next time after that, and then the next time after that ... then you, are becoming evil. It takes Gumption to let things go. Giving the evil eye is a normal human reflex. Letting it go takes a conscious decision. Letting it go takes Gumption. Do you want to be more gump-like? ... Forgive yourself when you give the evil eye ... it's part of the human condition. But then, let it go. Let's learn to live our lives with Gumption.
