**-- HERE IS THE VIDEO TRANSCRIPT --** Forrest disobeyed a direct order. Hi, I'm Steve Weber and here is Scene 30 of 94. I've created 94 life lessons - from the best movie scenes from the move - to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the movie Forrest Gump. And that's an order. Sometimes, we don't do what we're told to do. Sometimes, we need to disobey a direct order. When Forrest rescued Lt. Dan, Lt. Dan wasn't happy. After all, his family legacy was to be killed on the battle field. Despite the protests of Lt Dan, Forrest dragged him out of the jungle - despite suffering a bullet wound himself. When Forrest dropped Lt. Dan with the other soldiers, Lt Dan gave Forrest a direct order to stay. But Forrest wasn't going to obey that order. He had to find Bubba. It takes Gumption to do what's right ... It takes Gumption to disobey a direct order if it's the right thing. Do you want to be more gump-like? ... Follow your heart. Do what's right. Don't do what others tell you to do if it's NOT the right thing to do. Let's learn to live our lives with Gumption.
